When
is pick up day?
Each residence should have the garbage at the curbside by
6:30
a.m.
Monday mornings. It is not a good idea to leave garbage at curbside when
departing the Valley prior to that time because of animal intrusion. You
may take garbage to the public bins located at the SVPSD offices.
Cardboard and papers are also collected at these bins. Do not discard
appliances, construction debris, or hazardous waste at this location. Special
Holiday collection days will be posted on this web-site.
Christmas
Tree Recycle Day: ( January 3, 2011) Christmas trees are
collected without charge on customers' regular service day. Trees must
be exposed to view. Please cut tree into 3 ft. sections, remove any foreign matter (e.g. tinsel,
garland, stands, lights,
nails, ornaments). "Flocked" trees and artificial trees are
not recyclable and will not be picked up.

More Questions
What
type of garbage can I put out? TTSD will only pick up household waste or blue bag recycled goods from a
residence. If you have construction debris and appliances that you wish to
have picked up, contact TTSD for special disposal and fees.
A minimal amount of yard waste such as pine cones and pine
needles will be picked up when contained in sturdy plastic bags. Avoid
bagging dirt and rocks with the needles to prevent the bags from ripping.
Hazardous waste items including paints, insecticides,
anti-freeze, oil, solvents, batteries, and cleansers are not
permitted and will not be collected. Please do not take
these items to the public bins. Contact TTSD for special
disposal.
How
many garbage cans am I allowed per pickup? The
